The IMS calls for proposals for its 23rd Quinquennial Congress in 2032 (IMS2032) from organizations able to secure a site for the congress and to take responsibility for all local arrangements. The IMS also requests proposals for intercongressional symposia (smaller events that may take place every year). Decisions on the congress sites are up to the IMS Bureau and the IMS Directorium. The deadline for IMS2032 bids is 31 March 2027.
