This coming November, the IMS Regional Association for East Asia (IMSEA) and the IMS Regional Association for Latin America and the Caribbean (ARLAC) will meet jointly with the American Musicological Society (AMS). The meetings, to be held online from 14–15 and 19–20 November 2026, are designed to facilitate international connections across the global community of music experts. 

IMS members will receive discounted registration fees for AMS2026.
