Explaining Opera to the World

The IMS Study Group “Transmission of Knowledge as a Primary Aim in Music Education” will hold a roundtable on “Explaining Opera to the World” (“Spiegare l’opera al mondo”). It is part of the conference “Polimnia: L’Opera per tutti,” which will take place from 16 to 18 October 2025 and is broadly dedicated to this theme, with the participation of various Italian institutions involved in music and musicology. The roundtable will be held in Modena on 17 October 2025 from 14:00 to 19:00.
