| This award is funded by Melanie Plesch in memory of her late husband, Gerardo V. Huseby (1943–2003). It will be presented to the best paper submitted by an Argentine musicologist in advance of an IMS congress and read at that forthcoming congress. The award will consist of the equivalent of US $1,000 in Argentine pesos and publication of the paper in the IMS’s official journal Acta Musicologica. Preference will be given to promising young scholars in the early stages of their careers. |  |
